With Kidney Week just around the corner, the American Society of Nephrology (@ASNkidney) has released a new podcast featuring a conversation between ASN Communications Associate, Sara Leeds, and two of the youngest Kidney Week attendees who have ever presented at the meeting: Uma and Harish Alappan.
The siblings share their perspectives on attending and presenting their original research at Kidney Week while in their respective high school and undergraduate college programs, what it was like doing their research projects, and their advice for other young people interested in pursuing science and medicine.
