Renal Fellow Network (RFN) is a highly trafficked blog, with 20,000 – 30,000 visitors per month in 2019. Want to join our team? We are looking for an individual to serve a 2-year term as a co-editor of RFN and member of the American Society of Nephrology (ASN) Media and Communications Committee. This is a call to internal medicine residents, nephrology fellows (medicine or pediatrics), PhD students, or PhD post-docs. Eligible candidates should be trainees on July 1, 2020, but can be faculty in 2021.
The co-editor will work with a larger team consisting of 2 faculty leads (Matt Sparks and Samira Farouk), RFN co-editor (Sam Kant) and a group of faculty advisors. These individuals will provide review/editing support and mentorship. The selected individual will learn how to use WordPress, Hootsuite, and best practices for social media use. They will also help to recruit contributors and innovate RFN.
RFN- co-editors will also serve on the ASN Media and Communications committee to help direct ASN’s mission to enhance our communication with trainees.
