This year’s competition, like last year’s, will consist of 3 rounds:
1. Elimination Round, November 7th, 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
8 teams (4 fellows per team) will compete in a single round Nephron challenge, inspired by JEOPARDY!
2. Semi-Finals, November 8th, 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
The top 4 teams will compete in “Case-Based Debates”
3. Finals, November 8th, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
The final 2 teams will compete in a single and double Nephron challenge, inspired by JEOPARDY!

FAQs:
Q: Who is eligible to participate in the FIT Bowl?
Teams should consist of four members who are currently fellows-in-training in an ACGME-accredited Nephrology training program.
Q: When will I know I am selected?
ASN will contact all applicants and teams who have been selected to participate no later than Friday, September 20, 2019.
Q: Is there audience seating?
Yes! Please encourage your fellow colleagues, program directors, and faculty to come watch the competition and come cheer you on!
Q: What is the dress code?
The dress code for the competition is business casual, but matching team t-shirts are also acceptable and encouraged.
Q: How are questions created?
Question for this session are written and compiled by a subcommittee of Nephrology Training Program Directors and members of the ASN Workforce and Training Committee.
Winning team will be recognized during plenary session.
