GlomCon’s Virtual Glomerular Disease Fellowship

5026 1

GlomCon is a grassroots initiative that brings together clinicians, pathologists, and researchers in a collaborative manner to help patients with glomerular diseases. An essential component of GlomCon is glomerular disease education.

Expert clinicians and educators from around the world have come together to provide a unique educational experience in glomerular diseases. The depth and diversity of the educational experience make GlomCon an excellent resource for trainees and clinicians to advance their studies in glomerular diseases. Through theme and topic-based virtual web conferences, clinical experts and researchers have come together to exchange ideas, educate peers, and establish one of the most widely recognized international teaching and professional exchange platforms in nephrology.

We are now excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for trainees and early career nephrologists interested in glomerular disease:  A virtual, web-based, and year-long glomerular disease fellowship.

Selected fellows will be enrolled in a one year program, and participate in educational activities virtually, such as through online live meetings (Zoom).

Innovative teaching methods will be implemented to provide an effective learning experience throughout the year. Interactive workshops are designed, for which fellows are expected to prepare, actively participate, and submit assignments.

Interested applicants should submit a personal statement and CV. A letter of recommendation from the program director/supervisor is strongly encouraged. The application deadline is July 30th, 2020. For further details and link to the application portal visit https://edu.glomcon.org

This is a unique opportunity for trainees and clinicians interested in glomerular diseases to work, learn, and network with award-winning faculty educators and world-renowned glomerular disease experts.

We are looking forward to reviewing your application. Selected fellows will be notified by August 15th, 2020.
